Meet the interior designer: Kelly Hoppen CBE
Kelly Hoppen CBE is one of the most well-known figures on the interiors circuit. You can imagine then just how excited we were to curate a palette of six new neutrals paint colour with her. After all, she’s internationally recognised for her mastery of colours in the neutral camp so who better to develop Lick x Kelly Hoppen palette with us than the queen of neutrals herself?
Read on to meet Kelly Hoppen CBE; the interior designer, product designer, author and TV personality, and discover our new collaboration: Lick x Kelly Hoppen.
Kelly in brief
Clean lines and neutral tones, warmth and opulence, East meets West – that’s Kelly Hoppen home’s trademark and what’s put her on the map as one of the most sought-after interior designers on the planet. She’s kind of a big deal.
From super yachts and private jets of the rich and famous to hotels and homes, her portfolio is one that spans four decades, countless continents and has scooped up an impressive number of awards and accolades (an MBE in 2009 followed by a CBE in 2020 no less for her commitment to British creativity and international business).
Having co-designed the likes of rugs, tiles and fabrics in the past, now, she takes on colour creation alongside our resident colour specialists to blend six tonal neutrals from easy greys to the beige that’s been missing from her design life for forty years and counting (more advice on how to use beige paint right this way).

What’s the story behind these six colours you’ve created for Lick?
KH: “My love of the 'perfect neutrals’ is long documented. Over the years I have used certain palettes of fabrics that have resulted in me creating the perfect basic six colours that will work in any interior design scheme.” Psst… read our tips on how to style all six colours.
