Our Colour Consultants' go-to online homeware stores

Lick Colour consultants homeware picks

WordsMegan Lambert

If you’re anything like our Color Consultants, there are few things more satisfying than finding an absolute gem of a lamp in your local charity shop, or the adrenaline rush you get when you make the winning eBay bid on that vintage Parker Knoll armchair. That said, we all lead busy lives, and sourcing those ‘hard to find’ pieces is, well, hard. Not to mention time-consuming. Sometimes you just need a go-to ‘click and it’s delivered to your front door’ option. So, we spoke to our team of Color Consultants about their recommended online homeware stores for all your interior decor needs.

Sam Bramley’s go-to online homeware stores

Birdie Fortescue

“I absolutely love Birdie Fortescue for pattern and form. This is where you need to be if you want those preppy, eclectic vibes. Adding splashes of color and personality, you might even see people who love the contemporary style sneaking a few of these pieces into their space”. Go here if you’re looking for a contemporary twist on traditional-style rugs.

“For every style and genre under one roof, Trouva is my go-to. It brings independent homeware shops under one roof which allows you to source curated, artisan, and beautiful objects. A more thoughtful approach to shopping. My interior ideology is to buy things you love, that are well made and sourced with care”. Fortunately, Trouva allows you to do so with ease.

Once the ultimate weekend destination, but now very much an online shop “for me my go-to shopping mecca is IKEA. I love nothing more than an IKEA hack. But be careful not to fall into the yellow bag of goodies and grab all the bargains, you can still be a considered shopper here and create some bespoke pieces that really can lift, elevate and compliment your home”. An oldie but a goodie, we’ll always love IKEA. Especially their ever-growing range of plants.
